'Scripture Cookies'

I stumbled onto this...

And so today we made some!

Some of the scriptures are a bit of a stretch to get the actual ingredient...

but my kiddos had fun searching the scriptures, trying to decipher what they were asking for and pulling the ingredients out of the cupboards...

I bumped up the cinnamon considerably!

We also used some raisins and some crannies...

They are delicious!

Sweet, Sweet Bread!

Decided to make some bread today...

Did one regular loaf for sandwich making and feeding babez...

Then I thought I would make a raisin, cinnamon, citrus peel swirl loaf...

Turned out alright...tastes fantabulous!

BOTH loaves are well on their way to extinction...
I hope to squirrel some of this one away for breakfast tomorrow...
I think it would make a most delectable French toast!
